Hi,

I found 'Piecewise Linear Resistor' in PLECS. Is the functionality of 'Piecewise Linear Resistor' similar to MOV? Can I use it in place of MOV?

Hello,

The Piecewise Linear Resistor is exactly that, a set of predefined I-V pairs. But the MOV implementation in the referenced thread above allows for the calculation of time-varying, non-preset resistance values. Does that make sense?

Thanks,
Kris
