What is the rated power of the Salient-Pole Synchronous Machine.

I am using a Salient-Pole Synchronous Machine and am wondering how to set or find out the rate power or rated voltage and current? Is their a way to derive it or a way to set it?

The values in the parameter tab do not appear to be values which can be used to determine or drive the rated characteristics.

Any help on this will be hugely appreciative.

The PLECS synchronous machine models don’t have a concept of “rated power”.  Machines of different power ratings would simply have different electrical and mechanical characteristics.  These will manifest as different resistances and inductances in the equivalent electrical circuit, and different inertia/friction values in the mechanical domain.

Do you have some data representative of a machine you’d like to model in PLECS?

Once you have the characteristics of a representative machine, reach out to Plexim support (support@plexim.com) if you need help translating the data into the required format for the PLECS machine models.
