I cant connect target device in external mode

I have done all the instructions step by step. I still cant operate in the external mode , My device is TMS320F28335

I dont know what is wrong

I think this question is best suited for Plexim support -- support@plexim.com.

In any case, are you able to share your PLECS model? Also, how are you communicating with the 28335 board? Are you able to share pictures?
