PLECS IGBT Power Losses

Question

Hello,

I need to do project of 3 phase converter which contains IGBT transistors. I do not have thermal library for that. How can I do that for IGBT transistor, which formulas should I use where Eon , Eoff is connveted with current and voltage. Can anyone help me?

Hello,

It sounds like you need to do some homework on how thermal losses work, but do you have a device or data sheet you can reference? Many of the devices currently supported with PLECS loss and thermal models are listed here: https://www.plexim.com/plecs/thermal
