If the device’s thermal model is only provided for certain temperatures, does PLECS linearly interpolate between the temperatures to generate loss calculations for the device when it’s at an unspecified junction temperature?

Hi Plexie,

Yes, PLECS uses **linear interpolation and extrapolation** when evaluating thermal loss lookup tables.

You might find the following videos helpful as you get up to speed with the PLECS thermal domain:

Additionally, I recommend reading through the **Thermal Modeling** section of the PLECS documentation:

Hope this helps!

Thank you, Munadir! Really appreciate it.
