# How can i calculate switching losses and efficiency?

i have completed my research on dual buck boost inverter with modified switching scheme .as i focus on switching losses ,which i have done in Psim simulation .i get different waveform which give clear result of switching losses ,now my supervisor asked me to get switching losses and efficiency in digits .please guide me how can i do it

Hello,

Should you have specific questions, please post them here, but a good example model to show how you can measure and calculate switching losses and efficiency (in a Scope plot, or displaying a magnitude in digits) is the PLECS demo model called “Buck Converter with Thermal Model”. Please review this model and description.
