# How to control delay between two saw tooth waveforms

Please refer to the posts below which describe two alternative implementations of variable phase PWM that are compatible with older versions of PLECS.

[This post](https://forum.plexim.com/t/phase-shift-modulation-simulation-in-dual-active-bridge-converter/1782/2) describes the legacy modulation scheme in the “Dual Active Bridge” demo model. The carriers don’t shift, but by adjusting the duty cycles a variable phase PWM is generated.
