# How to create a configurable object such as transformer(as electrical & magnetic)?

Hi dears,

How is a configurable subsystem such as transformer, MOSFET (with diode, case heat sink), etc can be created in PLECS?

PLECS has a configurable subsystem component where you can define multiple configurations. Have you reviewed the user manual or tutorials on our website ([https://www.plexim.com/support/tutorials](https://www.plexim.com/support/tutorials) e.g., see: PLECS: Creating Custom Components and Subsystem Masks)? For an example of a configurable electrical/magnetic transformer, please see the Dual Active Bridge demo model including in PLECS.
