# How to implement a dam converter with an active front end in Plexim standalone

Hi AbhishekArragunta,

It is not entirely clear what you are asking.

In general, you can use the PLECS Controls Domain to implement both the PLL and APF algorithms. As a starting point, you may find the PLECS **Single-Phase PLL** component useful for implementing the PLL portion of your design.

If you could provide some additional details about what you are trying to achieve, or share a simplified model, it would be easier to provide more targeted guidance.
