# Schematic 'Copy as Image' function doesn't work properly in dark mode in Windows

Hello,

I am having an issue with the ‘Copy as Image’ function in schematics when using PLECS 4.9.4 in dark mode in Windows 11.

For example, if I copy the following schematic into a Word document, I get a very light reproduction, not with black lines/components:

If I set PLECS into light mode, it works properly:

There is an ongoing discussion on how to make the copy feature more user friendly.

Note there is also the option “File” \> “Export schematic…” which, after selecting the file location, gives you the opportunity to specify the background (white, black, transparent (light), transparent (dark)) for certain file export types.
