# Superdiode based half wave rectifier

Hi

I made a simple model with an op-amp connected to a diode (So that the forward voltage drop of the diode is not reflected in the output voltage).

But it doesn’t work.

Could someone tell me, what i am doing wrong ?

Did you mean to not connect the ground terminal to the negative of the voltage source (the lower bus)?

Sorry, didn’t notice that terminal of the Op-Amp.

Connected the terminal to ground and it works as expected. Thanks
