# Thermal model not visible

Hi,  
I have a thermal model of OnSemi Si MOSFET. Thermal model is saved in the same location as the other MOSFET models. However I cannot see this thermal model.  
Can you please explain what I am doing wrong here ?  
Attached is the location, path mapped and what I see when I try to link the thermal model.

The onsemi thermal models must be used with the library component provided by onsemi. They will not work with other components from the PLECS library, as the thermal model can only be associated with the specific model you’ve highlighted from onsemi.

Please download the onsemi library and follow the included instructions: [Onsemi Thermal Descriptions](https://onsemi.plexim.com/api/onsemi_t4986/onsemi.zip)

Hi Christen.  
I keep seeing this error and I included a 2ohm resistor in the FET description.

While admittedly not very clear, this error indicates that you are using an older version of the onsemi MOSFET thermal description file. Did you download and install the latest onsemi library from the link my colleague provided above? Those XML files should not display this error message.
