Request for Assistance with PLECS Simulation: Motor Load & Efficiency Analysis
Dear [Recipient Name or Professor/Lab Assistant],
I hope you are doing well.
I am currently working on my PLECS simulation project and have attached my schematic file for reference. I would like to request your guidance on the following points:
- How to correctly add a motor load to the output of the inverter.
- How to identify and measure the required points in the circuit:
1.Pole voltages
2.Line-to-line voltages
3.How to plot the efficiency curve from 10% to 100% of the rated power.
4.How to calculate and plot:
5.4point efficiency** and European efficiency.
6.Losses breakdown** across the various switches.
Application:*7.5 kW solar-fed residential inverter in Indian market assuming ambient temperature 30 °C
Topology: three-phase three-level flying capacitor inverter
Modulation technique: Level-shift sinusoidal PWM
DC voltage: 700 V
Line-to-line AC voltage: 415 V
I would really appreciate your help or any reference materials you can suggest to accomplish these tasks.
Thank you in advance for your time and support!
Generally speaking these questions should be asked to your colleagues or instructor as they seem as though they are from a class assignment.
How to correctly add a motor load to the output of the inverter.
There is an extensive set of motors in the PLECS component library. Your question is ambiguous as the type and parameters of the motor are unspecified.
How to identify and measure the required points in the circuit:
1.Pole voltages
2.Line-to-line voltages
The voltages can be measured using the Voltmeter and placing them at the appropriate measurement points.
3.How to plot the efficiency curve from 10% to 100% of the rated power.
4.How to calculate and plot:
5.4point efficiency** and European efficiency.
6.Losses breakdown** across the various switches.
There is extensive documentation in PLECS on thermal modeling. Please review the demo models (e.g. Buck Converter with Thermal Model) and Thermal Simulation of a Buck-Converter tutorial. These show the necessary concepts so you can continue to develop your simulation model.
thanks Bryan i need help on how i can add sinusoidal level shift pwm circuit by 120 dregree can u help me on that i have attached the file
