I am simulating a magnetic circuit in PLECS using a variable permeance-based model. The setup consists of multiple magnetic limbs, and I am intentionally switching one limb (S1) ON/OFF to study the behaviour of the circuit.
However, when the switch S1 is turned OFF, the simulation stops with the following error:
“State discontinuity after switching.”
From my understanding, this seems related to the sudden change in magnetic path (permeance), which may be causing a discontinuity in MMF/flux.
