Announcing Embedded Office Hours: TI C2000 ADCs - May 2, 2025

In our next Embedded Office Hours session we will be covering one of the most essential microcontroller peripherals for controlling power converters - the ADC! And more specifically, ADCs for Texas Instruments C2000 MCUs.

Reading a voltage value from a circuit is simple conceptually, but takes quite a lot of thought on the hardware level. TI offers highly-detailed application notes on how the ADC operates in their C2000 chips, where they utilize a sample and hold circuit to acquire the voltage level given to the input pin. To utilize it most effectively, however, requires careful consideration of the underlying circuit.

In this casual session, you can see how PLECS allows you to optimize your application to make the best use of the peripheral. Learn how to use PLECS to configure your ADCs with ease and incorporate your voltage sensing circuits to increase simulation accuracy!
