Difference between regular and natural sampling in sawtooth PWM

Hi,

I want to know exactly what is the difference between regular and natural sampling in sawtooth PWM block since I can not completely understand from the manual. I am trying to get small signal response for a buck converter but it gives different response for both settings so I am trying to understand that.

From a quick internet search I see there are many references to this topic other than the PLECS documentation, such as Section 2 in (https://www.mdpi.com/1996-1073/12/15/2925/htm).
