How PLECS look at leakage inductances of transformer?

I have leakage inductances for my transformer of 22.24uH (primary) and 1.34uH (secondary) obtained from the datasheet. I put this in the PLECS model. I would like to know if PLECS look at these values as primary leakage and secondary leakage alone, or does it look at these values with the referred inductances from primary and secondary? my model and actual setup results don’t match up.

Thank you kindly.

Richard

Which transformer model are you using?

Most transformer models have the following convention as described in the component help: “A two-element vector containing the leakage inductance of the primary side L1 and the secondary side L2. The inductivity is given in henries (H).”

Both inductances are referred to their respective windings.

If still unclear, you can right-click the component and select Subsystem + Look under mask to see the underlying implementation of the component.
