We have created a project based on MCU F28379d using Plecs 4.9.8 and TI C2000 1.10.5.
We have now loaded this software into a prototype. Unfortunately, we have noticed that CPU-0 stops working. The problem disappears after a restart until we want to perform switching operations again. After activating the internal watchdog, we now have regular restarts. Without the watchdog, this state continues until the power is turned off. While searching for a possible cause, we determined that no ‘PLX_ASSERT()’ case occurred. It appears that we are entering a program loop that has no termination condition. Classic debugging with the XDS module is not possible due to interference from the environment.
Since this is a product development, I need a decision very quickly on how the error can be found.
