I want to implement Synchronous Rectification with an STM32 G474 Nucleo Board.
I have a PCB routed to switch one halfbridge (high-side and low-side switch) with one HR timer.
Due to the variable conduction times of the rectifier in a LLC resonant converter, I need a variable blanking time. Will there be an input for blanking time in the future for the HRTIM block?
Or alternatively, will there be the possibility of independent phase shifts within on HR timer?
Hi Lukas,
You can have independent phase shifts with one HRTIM using different timing units. For example HRTIM1A and HRTIM1B can be phase shifted relative to each other. Please see the " Advanced PWM Generation on STM32 Microcontrollers" demo model if you have not already. However, the hardware cannot have a variable phase shift within a timing unit, say HRTIM1A Channel1 and Channel2.
