RT-Box Multi Tasking Tutorials

Hi,

I’m about to finish all eight RT-Box tutorials available on the website. However, I haven’t come across any tutorial that demonstrates how to utilize the multi-core capabilities of the PLECS RT-Box.

Is there any tutorial or documentation available that specifically covers this topic?

Also, would you say that completing these eight tutorials is enough to provide a solid head start with RT-Box, or are there any additional resources you would recommend?

There isn’t an official multi-tasking tutorial. However, the Modular Multilevel Converter RT Box demo model has a section titled Tasking Modes that describes their operation and configuration. Other RT Box and TI C2000 Target Support Package demo models may use the multitasking mode. The PLECS Documentation also contains information about task configuration.

Starting with the tutorials and reviewing the RT Box demo models is a great way to get up to speed. You may also want to look at some of the TI C2000 Target Support Package demo models, as those models have RT Box plants for HIL testing. I’ll also be transparent and note that some of the tutorials may be out of date given many of the recent advances in the RT Box platforms capabilities.
