Inverter PQ control

I want to connect a three-phase inverter to the grid and need to do PQ control.
For that do I need an infinite grid? If that so, how do I model an infinite grid in PLECS?

Hi Ujala, welcome to the community. You can use a “Voltage Source AC (3-Phase)” component to model an infinite bus. You can also construct your own three-phase voltage source from other voltage source components like “Voltage Source (Controlled)” or “Voltage Source AC” by generating the appropriate control signals.

For your PQ control, you don’t need an infinite grid, but it might be helpful for you to assume one during your initial model development and then add a more realistic grid once you have the basics working.
