Hello,
PLECS uses ideal switches and does not include physical models of components as you find in SPICE. While you cannot see the electrical transient waveforms during transitions, PLECS has a thermal modeling domain using loss lookup tables to accurately capture switching and conduction losses. So, if you want to know the thermal and loss behavior of an Infineon device, it is possible to get very close results. Otherwise, if you are interested in the small time-constant/non-steady state electrical behavior this is not what PLECS is intended for. Is that clear?
